At Just Therapy we strongly believe in choice and control for our participants. We offer our participants a wide range of worker profiles to choose from. Once you have been chosen by a participant, we will contact you to arrange a suitable time for you to meet the participant.
Please note that due to this process, we cannot guarantee a start date.
The participants choose a location in which they would like the session to be held. Again, this promotes choice and control which is important to the success, capacity building and independence of the participants. The participants may want to have sessions at home, school, community centres or the supervising therapists’ rooms.
Therapy Assistant sessions are minimum 1 hour and Mentoring sessions are minimum of 2 hours, however, the participant may require more, and this is based on their NDIS budget. However, an initial meet and greet can be for a shorter period.
This will depend on the therapist. Each therapist will have a different model and you will need to be flexible to accommodate the participant under the guidance of the therapist. Our technology has the capability for ongoing reporting which will support the participant in the review process and can keep the supervising therapist up to date with progress.
You may be required to assist with writing a progress report. You will be paid for the time you spend writing the report.
We have a fortnightly pay cycle.
Yes. Therapy Assistants and Mentors can be paid a maximum of 30 minutes travel time to appointments and 30 minutes from appointments in metropolitan areas. You can also be paid for up to 1 hour travel time each way to inner regional areas.
Yes, you can apply for both positions via the Apply Now page.
No. Staff are strongly encouraged to be up to date with COVID-19 vaccinations, however, it is no longer mandatory.
Not being vaccinated may reduce the likelihood of connecting with clients, as people with disabilities can be at higher risk of developing severe illness from COVID-19.
