JUST THERAPY PAY RATES:
You will be paid above award rates and you choose the hours you want to work. Wages are paid fortnightly and we will take care of your super and taxation obligations.
We have taken care of your Professional Indemnity Insurance.
PAYMENT FOR TRAVEL TIME
Therapy assistants are entitled to be paid for time spent travelling to and from appointments. You can also be paid for travel time between appointments. Payment for time spent travelling is paid at the relevant hourly rate (eg Weekday, Saturday or Sunday).
There are limits to the amount of time you will be paid for travel. The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) have adopted the Modified Monash Model (MMM). The maximum amount of travel time payable is 30 minutes to and from MMM 1-3 area and 60 minutes in MMM 4-5.
NON FACE TO FACE TIME
You will be required to report to the Allied Health Professional, normally after a support session. You may also be required to speak with parents and carers of the participant.
This non face to face time with the participant will be paid at the relevant hourly pay rate.
